My choices for who should play Wonder Woman:

-Taylor Cole (Heroes, The Event): She’s the least known of this group of women but the one with the least baggage. While her acting isn’t exceptional, she has talent and can be very believable as physically imposing.

-Jamie Alexander (Thor): She’d be my number one if she wasn’t already working for Marvel. She’s a solid actress and has some action chops but I doubt Marvel would allow her to do a DC film.

-Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Smashed, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World): She’s probably the strongest actress in the group and she can handle action but I think people would have a hard time buying her as an Amazonian Princess. Part of Winstead’s charm, in my opinion, is that she seems very approachable and that wouldn’t work for WW.

-Phoebe Tonkin (The Secret Circle, The Originals): She can certainly play tough and she’d be a great “A star is born” type of story but her face reads a little too young for the role. If WB goes for a more naive and inexperienced WW then Tonkin might be perfect; but I don’t imagine that’s where they’ll go with their interpretation of the character.

-Amber Heard (The Playboy Club, All The Boys Love Mandy Lane): Similar problem to Tonkin, although she also reads too glamorous/supermodel.

-Gemma Arterton (Clash Of The Titans, Quantum Of Solace): She’s about right in terms of age and can certainly play tough but she’s 5’7, so I imagine she’d be too short to play an Amazonian. She’d make a great Lara Croft, though.

-Hayley Atwell (Captain America: The First Avenger): Suffers the same problems as Jamie Alexander and Gemma Arterton but that’s about the only things I see holding her back. Like Arterton, however, she’d make a great Lara Croft.
